White linen mini dress
The perfect beach cover-up, day out, cute little dress. We like linen here because it’s breathable for those warm summer days. The one I’m wearing below is from Aritzia, but depending on your budget, you can find some at the Gap or Reformation.
Birkenstocks
Italy’s many hills and steep steps are unavoidable, especially on the coasts, so comfortable footwear is necessary. Birks in my opinion are practical yet stylish.
Colorful swim set
I wore the Las Olas set below from Inamorata every day on the Amalfi Coast because it matched the beach club & Aperol spritz’s too perfectly. I also love all things polka dot.
Linen pants (and a linen shirt)
This outfit took 0 brain cells to put together and was one of my favorites. Linen on linen is the universal summer uniform.
Silk dress
Pack a silk midi dress and you can dress this up or make it casual. My favorite place for silk pieces is Realisation Par. Nothing beats their bias-cut and gorgeous prints!
Gold statement earrings
Chunky gold earrings are the perfect accessory to pair with a simple dress. I wore these almost every other day on my trip — Aereum Collective Marie’s.
Kitten heels
So glad these are back now, I was, and am never going to be a Stilletos girl. Kitten heels are the perfect dainty shoe whether you prefer open or closed-toe. I get my pairs from TheRealReal for vintage designer finds.
Film camera
Run to eBay and get yourself a decent Canon or Nikon. You don’t need a fancy Contax or Leica point-and-shoot to capture summer memories on film. I shoot on a Canon, feel free to check out @anchitasfilm on Instagram.
Chic sunnies
A pair of oval or cat-eye sunglasses seal the deal on any European vacation. I love a classic Celine or a winged Ray-Ban.
White sneakers
You need them, they go with everything … everything. My tried and true’s are Reebok Club C 85s.
